Remember Sharpay and Ryan Evans, the drama club stars of East High School? Well, they’re back and ready as ever to perform in the spring musical. Ashley Tisdale got together with Lucas Grabeel to sing “What I’ve Been Looking For.”
Yep, she brought us another High School Musical reunion 10 years later.
Tisdale uploaded this cute video on Tuesday to her YouTube channel. They sang a slower version of their famous duet with Grabeel playing the piano. It was different from the original, which included too many bedazzled clothes and jazz squares.
She also included a little chat she had with Grabeel reflecting on their old Disney Channel days. She also revealed that they hated each other in the beginning of filming the movie. So basically, they were like real brother and sister.
Shortly after the video was posted, the Internet lost its mind once again. Twitter users were filled with nostalgia.
She sang “Ex’s and Oh’s” earlier this year with Vanessa Hudgens and got the same reaction. Honestly though, that’s not very surprising.
Millennials will do anything to feel nostalgic.
But now that we know the stars of HSM are down for a reunion, I only have one question… Where the hell is Troy Bolton?
