The Giants “Prove Them Wrong” Tour begins today in Dallas

There is more reason to believe in Eli Manning and the New York Giants than anyone is giving them credit for. I have been doing my best to speak it into existence since February, and today the Prove Them Wrong tour begins in Dallas.

It’s true, over the past 2 years the G-Men have looked more like the G-boys, winning a total of 8 games. What gets overlooked is that we had Ben Fucking Mcadoodoo in his first year as a head coach in 2017. That threw us way off the rails. Then we get new HC Pat Shurmur and GM David Gettleman, a completely new regime with a second consecutive change of offense and defense.

But somehow, despite these coaching changes, abysmal offensive line play, and so many of our losses coming by the thinnest of margins, Eli has taken this fall from grace put on by ill-advised public perception, AKA “fake news”. Even some of my fellow Giants fans want to sit him, and it makes me sick. I don’t care how good our QB of the future looked in the preseason, this is still Eli’s team, and he’s going to prove it this season.

I’m done with the narrative that the Giants lack of success has been Eli’s fault. Last season, Eli had his CAREER BEST completion percentage and LOWEST interception total since 2008. Those are just 2 facts.

Saquon is back for his sophomore season and he’s not only the best running back in the NFL, he’s the best athlete in the NFL. We’ve improved our offensive line with 2 additions who each started 16 games last season to give 26 room to run and 10 time to show us he’s still got it.

So you know what? We’re 0-0 just like everyone else. Fuck this media narrative that says we don’t have a shot. I took us +1800 to win the NFC East. Time to #bELIeve and #BEATDallas.

How do you feel?
