I knew this past week’s Best Dressed list was worth waiting for! The Stitched Fashion Show did NOT disappoint when it came to checking out some of the hottest runway and spectator fashions, which is why the latest installment of this fine, fine fashion series is dedicated exclusively to the looks I saw at the show.
You guys get the deal by now, I do the nominating, you do the voting. So, scroll through the best Stitched outfits –from the runway to the audience –and VOTE at the bottom of this blog for your favorite outfit! The person with the most votes will receive a $50 gift card to ZARA thanks to our friends at Crossgates Mall!
And PS: If you’re wondering what Stitched was all about, check out the experience I had at the event here.
Mell Meus (@team__mell)
Mell is one of the masterminds behind this entire event as the Partnership Director who helped secure a lot of the sponsorships that made Stitched happen. Even though he’s been running around like crazy for months (and at the show itself) he still managed to show up in one of my favorite looks of the night.
Camel colors have been in for a while now and let me tell ya if you’ve been late to the nude party (not like that, weirdos), it’s definitely a color you want to start incorporating in your wardrobe because it’s not going anywhere. The stripes in Mell’s suit matched his shirt underneath perfectly, and you can’t see it here but he had some sweet loafers that completed the whole look and really showed his commitment to the color palette.
MAJOR props to Mell for being such an important part of this event and for showing up with serious style and class.
MiKaila Ford (@mikay_ford)
It wouldn’t be right if we didn’t include some models on this list because they are the real stars of the show. MiKaila looks like a hot alien and I am here for it! Vaceia Designs came up with this look and I am super into the silver tones with that pop of yellow (also a big color this season) that keeps your eyes bouncing around to focus on so many different parts of the look. Her makeup, hair and accessories all fit perfectly with this “outta this world” type of outfit and I am sure she strutted her stuff on the runway accordingly.
THIS is the kind of stuff that is going to make fashion happen here in the 518. Work it, girl!

Chloe Aviza (@chloeaviza)
Chloe was another behind-the-scenes superstar at Stitched, working on photo shoots, styling and so much more throughout the process of planning this charity event to benefit Ronald McDonald Charities of the Greater Capital Region. And trust me, she ALWAYS dresses fabulous, but I particularly loved this orange jumpsuit accessorized with a whole lotta glam and sparkle.
It’s not easy to dress models and coordinate day-of event stuff while looking this good, but obviously my girl Chloe made it look easy. There’s literally nothing I don’t like about this jumpsuit –except the fact that it’s not in my own closet right now. Turtleneck (my personal fave), wide leg bottoms (another personal fav), and the silky, flowy fabric all work so well together and make me feel like this the perfect intro to fall fashion.
JoDee Kenney (@jodeekenney)
Thanks to our friends at The Spot 518 and CDPHP Cycle for snapping this FABULOUS photo of the fabulous JoDee Kenney, who I had the pleasure of sharing the runway with at the show (and getting some great advice from beforehand). JoDee has some background in professional modeling and let me tell you, she made that very clear when she stepped on stage.
She twirled and walked with such confidence in this gown from Fancy Shmancy that she probably got asked to go backstage and change into like a dozen more outfits to just keep modeling all night long. I love the tulle overskirt on this dress and how beautifully it moved when she walked. And of course, there’s really no such thing as too much sparkle when you’re killing it at the most fashionable event of the year.
VOTE for the winner of the Capital Region's Best Dressed (Stitched Fashion Show Edition) until Wednesday at 5PM. The person with the most votes will receive a $50 gift card to ZARA at Crossgates Mall!
