As the resident buttonista here at 2BD (more on that coming soon), I got an exclusive sneak peak of the new Lola Saratoga at Stuyvesant Plaza before the shop officially opened its doors this week. Some of my fellow fashionistas are probably familiar with Lola from its beautiful storefront on Broadway in Saratoga, but now it’s time for Albany to get a little more fabulous with the opening of Lola’s second location.
Lola curates a literally jaw-dropping selection of consigned, designer handbags that are like-new without the brand new price tag. Every vintage or consigned designer item has been authenticated by a third party, with the certificate available for you as proof. For any ladies that once bought a knock-off bag while you were on a middle school trip to NYC’s Chinatown, you know how important it is to know for real your bag is the real thing. It’s a pretty serious process to get your bag inspected and authenticated to this level, and not to mention since it’s technically consigned (I use that word very loosely after seeing the condition of them) you are in for quite the savings on your #treatyoself purchase. I mean, ya can’t really go wrong with all of that, right?
And let’s just say you’re not the type who thinks buying a $7,000 handbag for $3,450 is not a good deal or a good life decision. I understand and respect that, and so do the fabulous ladies of Lola. The store also features tables worth of affordably priced and trendy jewelry and accessories, as well as other brand new handbags, shoes and wallets from Tory Burch. Tory Burch is a big hit with the gals of the Capital Region (or so I see on social media) and Lola is the only place from here to Westchester where you can actually shop pieces from the collection in-store.
Lola is a very welcome addition to Stuyvesant Plaza, and its location is adjacent to my pals at Circles, and also just a few doors down from some other favorites like West Elm and RAD Soap. So, if you’re in the mood for an impromptu shopping spree or are finally ready to use your savings on a big-ticket item like a designer handbag that says, “BOSS BITCH” in so many less words, Lola Saratoga in Stuyvesant Plaza is the place you gotta go.
Stay tuned for some very exciting news about the store’s grand opening happening in early November, and obviously go check them out before then! In the meantime, I’ll be letting you know about all the fashionable stuff worth talking about here in the Capital Region. Congrats and best of luck to the ladies of Lola!
