First he tweeted “I told you so”
Then used this as ammo for his Muslim-ban argument, despite the fact the killer was born in NYC. (watch full speech here)
Anyways, lots of vagueness was portrayed and while all late night hosts chimed in with their clever way of asking “HOW THE HELL IS THIS GUY A NOMINEE” – Colbert drew it out in diagram form, which may give us the explanation we’ve been looking for…
