On July 9th, Major League Eaters will present “The World’s Healthiest Eating Championship” in Buffalo, NY. Let’s be clear, this is the same company that puts on the infamous Nathan’s Hot Dog eating contest. Where the monsters among men come to play as they devour pig intestines mixed with other stuff and a bun all for sport. Now that same company is promoting a healthy lifestyle with a new Kale eating contest, and I’m sure it has to do with the company’s new girlfriend.
Kale is a tough leafy thing, also a good source of thiamin, pantothenic acid and dietary minerals including iron, calcium, potassium and phosphorus. So it’s not bad for you, but then again, when is the last time you tallied your intake of anything I just mentioned?
Kale has become a craze among health nuts and healthy quacks alike and honestly I blame Beyoncè.
