Noah was born in South Africa, his Mother was native but his father was white. During that time in South Africa, interracial relationships were illegal because of the apartheid. Therefore Trevor was kept inside for the first 6 years of his life, until the law was lifted in 1990. He was told he was simply an “indoor child” and didn’t think twice about not going outside, because if he was seen, his parents would have been arrested. Noah has a new book ‘Born A Crime‘ coming out shortly after the election.
