The entire Olympics I was set and stone on the fact that we need olympians to compete against normal people for our normal brains to comprehend how normal we are. I would look at the contestant in 9th place like he was some minute and unqualified athlete for coming in a total of 2.5 seconds behind Phelps. I think it’s unfair to have normal people compete against Usain Bolt, because that’s literally what the Olympics were, but it would be great to see someone doggypaddling the 400M freestyle to give us the perspective we need. But beggers can’t be choosers.
