A hologram is a three-dimensional image formed by the interference of light beams from a laser or other coherent light source, which is something completely beyond my comprehension. But not the IT department at Jimmy Kimmel Live, who were able to project Jimmy from his studio in LA directly to center stage in Nashville.
This is actually the third year in a row Jimmy has projected himself on the CMA stage. Why? I’m not quite sure, but man is it cool to watch.
