I mean, did you see them? Damn, those women were hot. Some of the most attractive women on the planet smushed into an hour-long television runway episode that leaves us all weeping and promising ourselves that we’re going to hit the gym, tomorrow.
Every December we watch the tanned and toned angels strut the most famous runway in the fashion world, and it’s only for a single minute.
Say what??
Yea, a minute. The hard work, dedication, skipping out on desserts (or any meal, probably) is only repaid in a single 60-second strut. Some even got to tower past Bruno Mars and The Weeknd.
But, these girls can’t get enough, they’re ecstatic. Can you blame them? This year’s show took place in the city of love, Paris. For the first time ever since the early 90’s, the sparkly runway made it’s move to the most romantic city on earth.
The first Victoria Secret Fashion Show was held at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
A record 52 women walked in this year’s show. And 18 of those women were new to the company, including Bella Hadid and Irina Shayk- who you may know as Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend.
And what about that Fantasy Bra?! This year’s bra cost a measly $3 mil. Designed by Eddie Borgo, the bra has 450 carats of 9,000 diamonds and emeralds and took 700 hours to make.
Model, Jasmine Tookes had the pleasure of wearing this beautiful creation.
Every year we look to the lingerie company for bigger, badder, and more colorful wings to keep us coming back. It may be another 363 days until the next show, but it’s never too early to start dreaming of next year’s creations.
