Christmas is still four days away, but Amy Schumer just couldn’t wait any longer to give her Father his present this year.
When Schumer was only nine years old, her family went bankrupt so they had no other choice but to sell the beloved family farm. This was the same time that her Father was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and her parents filed for divorce three years later.
Even though they faced a lot of hardships, Schumer and her father still look back on the fond memories they have of the farm. She even posted a video on Instagram of when she was a little girl playing in the corn field. Beneath it she wrote,
“We lost the farm when we lost everything else.”

The little girl in the corn field has grown up quite a bit since then. From being a successful stand-up comedian, to writing and producing her own content, to starring in awesome movies like Trainwreck, Schumer has made her mark in Hollywood.
So with all that fame and fortune, she was able to do something truly special this holiday season: buy back her father’s old farm.
In a series of Instagram posts, she revealed that the farm her family sold decades ago now belonged to them again. She gave the farm back to her father as an early Christmas present.
Does anyone else feel their heart melting? Just me? Okay.
Schumer Facetimed her father to tell him the big news and he couldn’t help but shed a few tears. She took a screenshot of his emotional reaction and posted that photo on Instagram too, with a simple caption: “Today I bought my father’s farm back.”
