It feels like yesterday I was eagerly waiting to watch the opener for season seven of Game of Thrones, well here we are tonight the season finale.
Season seven is only eight episodes compared to the other seasons all being at ten a piece. We know that season eight is the end, so viewers feel the show is starting to feel rushed. They’re saying the writing is terrible, the cameos have been pointless, the plot holes don’t make any sense, you know what I have to say about that…shut the hell up.
GOT fans have had to endure a lot, I mentioned when The Official ‘Game of Thrones’ Trailer Dropped Today and I Refuse to Watch it.
I will go out of my way to dodge spoilers. Just last week HBO Spain accidentally aired the Beyond the Wall episode days before hand! You assholes!
So to the people that are bitching that the writing isn’t what it once was, please shut up, the writing is still incredible, the producers are doing a great job with this show now that they are ahead of the books with nothing to go off of. It’s time to stop complaining and appreciate the greatness.
Now time to direct my attention to the plot holes, the time travel in particular…..what did you think was going to happen with a shorten season and season eight being the finale?
It doesn’t bother me one bit that Gendry can run faster than Usain Bolt, or Daenerys and her dragons traveled from Dragon Stone to rescue the suicide squad at the last possible second. Do you bitch when you go to the theaters and see Han Solo recuse Luke Skywalker at the last possible second too? Probably not you say wow that was a masterpiece.
If you haven’t watched the making of these episodes I highly recommend that you do, season seven in particular has been amazing with these productions.
These are full scale movie productions for a single episode, sometimes single scene! The producers have been wanting to do a zombie polar bear scene for years but never had the budget to do it, well they put their foot down and said we’re doing it damnit!
With one episode left, let’s be grateful with this show, say a prayer that your favorite character doesn’t get killed on Sunday.
P.S. – The season final will be eighty minutes!
