Malia Obama’s Clap Back Game Is Something We Gotta Talk About

Ever since I saw My Date With The President’s Daugher, I knew being a child of the leader of the free world is no cakewalk. You’re a celebrity by default, even though your contributions to the country extend no further than showcasing good family behaviors and not ending up in the news for the wrong reasons.

Sasha and Malia Obama have been excellent kids of the President. Are they actually good people? Hell do I know, but it’s becoming more and more apparent that these gals, now free from the reigns of the white house, simply want to live their own lives on their own terms. But of course America won’t let that happen.

Malia, the oldest daughter, is currently a freshmen at Harvard, where her parents notoriously met in law school. After a wave of news stories about her moving into her dorm (omg!) she has lead a fairly low-key presence beyond the eye of secret service. However, Americans are suckers for a good Instagram which means she now lives in a world where the difference between her peers and the paparazzi are slowly diminishing into one.

Last week, she was leaving some salad joint in Boston and was being filmed by a lady who allegedly had already asked for a picture before she entered, in which Malia declined. And then Malia proved her clap back game is worth talking about, here’s what went down:

HOW does this lady bounce back from that. “Are you just gonna stick it in my face like an animal in a cage.” OH GOD I CRINGE FOR THIS LADY. Nothing she can say to redeem herself. And of course she starts off by saying “No! ….” Take a hike lady! YES you were filming her like an animal and now you’ve got nothing to add to the situation except furthering the depletion of your dignity.

Malia is clearly good to go on her own as she presumably tackles the world. This isn’t the first clap back she’s had and I’m sure it won’t be the last.

I’m all on board the Malia train and pray for the next person who crosses her path!!!!!
