Buffalo Bills Fans Donated Over $100k to Andy Dalton’s Charity To Thank Him For His Part in Their Playoff-bound Win

The curse is finally over! The Buffalo Bills are back in the playoffs for the first time since 1999. That ends the nation’s longest playoff drought, all thanks to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bills needed to do their part though and needed to get a W against the Miami Dolphins. Then, they needed the Bengals to beat the Baltimore Ravens. After the Bills won, the Bengals’ Dalton drove down the field to lead them to a come-from-behind victory, which sent the Bills partying like its 1999.

Now if you know Bills fans, they like to party, especially the fans that label themselves as Bills Mafia.

It’s a well deserved celebration for sure, some Bills fans went the extra mile to say thank you by donating money to Andy Dalton’s charity, the Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation.

Wondering what all the money was raised for? According to their site:

The mission of the Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation is to provide daily support, opportunities, resources and life-changing experiences to seriously ill and physically challenged children and their families in Cincinnati and Fort Worth.

I was so moved by this effort, I contributed to his foundation as well. And so far (including me), 4,500 people have helped donate over $100,000. That’s incredible! What a way to start off 2018, the feel good story of the year! Especially considering there teams are in the same conference and there’s a rivalry between them. But, to see fans rise above and do something like this is what makes sports great, making you realize it really is more than just a game.

So, what’s next for the Bills? They will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Wild Card Game on Sunday at 1pm. And if you want to donate, you can do that right here.

Lets Go Buffalo!
