Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, or the New York Rangers and their new puppy Ranger. I’m going to choose the second one. The offseason for the Rangers has been static for a bit now. They went out and signed their RFAs and then we had radio silence.
That is, until now.
RangersTown, meet our new best friend, Ranger!
In partnership with BluePath, @NYRangersPup will be training to become a professional service dog for a child with autism.

No one knows how good the Rangers will be this year with so many questions. Will they gel with a first year NHL coach? Will players like Buchnevich, Vesey or Skjei take the next step? How will the King hold up this year? While these questions are concerning we can all agree that it’s going to be awesome watching this puppy become a service dog all year.
The easiest way to make people happy during a so-so year is putting a puppy on TV in the home blue jerseys. It’s a genius move by the PR team and an awesome addition to the Rangers fam. By the way, can hockey start now?
