This is the second time this week that I’ve posted about something that has touched my heart an might has mad me cry. I think that I’m either turning soft or theres something about this weather that has my allergies kicking.
This video went viral a few days ago, but I can’t stop thinking about the raw emotion in that room and how we all should dial it back a bit and appreciate the little things. Especially around the holidays.
Life can be busy and stressful and a lot of us are guilty for getting lost in the rat race and not been able to smell the roses. This guy getting woken up to find out that he was getting a lifesaving transplant is the absolute apex of innocent emotions.
It just makes me think about my life. What could I get woken up to that would even make me remotely as excited or happy? This guy is experiencing pure jubilation for a thing that I’m guilty of taking for granted. That’s just the basic life function of breathing. It makes me also think about what else I’m under appreciating.
Kevin and his family were submerged with pure joy in that great moment and during this holiday season keep that in mind when you were with your loved ones. Hug your families a little tighter and be thankful for what you have. Because for one man and his family just being able to breathe led to one of the all-time greatest viral moments.
Sorry if this post made you cry that was not my objection. My objection was to get your grateful juices flowing as we roll into Christmas and the New Year. I may or may not have cried.
