Fashion Friday: The Capital Region’s Best Dressed of the Week

Happy Fashion Friday AND the official first day of summer. I will not make this an incredibly long post because if you ask Jack, I have better things to do, like complain about the weather. That was when I saw him this morning when it was cold and miserable out, though. But now as I am writing this, it’s almost 5PM AKA almost happy hour AKA time to go a couple buttons deep and kick back, relax, and enjoy the weekend.

But before you do, you gotta check out who made this week’s Capital Region’s Best Dressed List.

Sydney Guss (@sydney_guss)

BAD. BITCH. ALERT. When I saw Sydney walking into the fashion charity event held at Lindsay Rae Photography last weekend, it wasn’t even time for me to be thinking about next week’s list, but let me tell you I was immediately thinking about next week’s list.

White on white is officially acceptable (I mean, I always think it’s acceptable if you do it right) and I love the way Sydney styled this suit that honestly, still would’ve been amazing if she didn’t even add a single detail. She layered up a whole bunch of gold necklaces with this deep-v, lacy, lingerie-style tank that definitely fits the vibe over at LRP. With looks like this, Sydney is going to make the Kardashians start keeping up with her.

Eliza Whipple (@whipradish)

Few things are better in my book than when a real life #MomBoss is also a style boss, too. Her out at Dead & Company, one of the first –maybe the actual first –SPAC show of the season, was perfect for this not-quite-summer-yet weather and as I’ve said before on Fashion Friday, I am a sucker for a good hat. Pair it with a flowy, linen button down and a good pair of skinny jeans and you’re sure to catch John Mayer’s attention up there on stage.

And listen, while I rarely put function before fashion, I know that a concert is one of those places where you absolutely have to consider how good you wanna feel while you’re movin’ and grovin’ –especially at SPAC where there are hills, stairs, and lots of walking to be done all over the grounds of the place. Eliza is kicking off the summer concert season is the absolute right way by nailing her weekday jam sesh look.

Heather Jackson (@heather.jax)

Have you ever seen a more stunning gal in uniform than Heather? I know Heather from my Fox & Friends debut in NYC, and if you don’t already follow her on the ‘gram, you better start now. You can tell from each and every post she is as genuine as she looks, and on top of everything she does entertaining us on social media and raising two beautiful daughters, she serves our country.

I love when she posts pictures in her uniform because it’s a reminder that the people out there fighting for our country are your friends, your neighbors, whoever you meet while you’re out and about. From the surface, you might have no idea the sacrifices people are making or the passion they have for the USA.

That’s all I got for ya, peeps. It;s time to get into the weekend!!!! And while you’re out there styling in all your cool outfits, take some pics and send them my way to see who will make the list next week.
