Nixle.com: On 8/10/2019 at 10:48pm, there was an event at the ‘Get Air Trampolie Park’ which had an estimate of 400-500 people in attendance. Officers from the Guilderland Police Department attempted to break up a fight between several females inside the venue. While officers were attempting to break up the fight a large crowd gathered around them and became unruly. Two police officers were then assaulted by multiple subjects causing the police officers to suffer minor injuries. Two juvenile males were arrested and charged with Assault 2nd a class ‘D’ Felony, Resisting arrest a class ‘A’ misdemeanor and Criminal Trespass a class ‘A’ misdemeanor.
At this point I don’t know how people even question why I don’t go south of the Twin Bridges. You know what doesn’t happen North of the twins? Trampoline chaos, that’s what. I have no idea who thought it’d be a good idea to put 300+ kids in a building with a trampoline and a shit ton of candy but do we think maybe they’re second guessing themselves?
Now guys, I joke about the Twins. I do go South of the Twins for hockey and back when I went to college, but I’m just too old to be around that type of stuff, that type of atmosphere. My anxiety literally would’ve crippled me and instead of a video of hella turnt kids at a trampoline park you’d be getting a video of me in the corner rocking back and forth mumbling High Hopes by Fall Out Boy, which again is not a great look for me.
And to my last point, I love how much law enforcement came out of the woodwork. I envision some 17-year-old kid, out making a paycheck to fill up the gas tank of their first car, hiding underneath a table screaming, crying out for the National Guard.
Officers from Bethlehem Police, Colonie Police, Albany Police, Troy Police, Green Island Police, Watervliet Police, SUNY Police, Cohoes Police, ENCON Police, Albany County Sheriff’s, Saratoga County Sheriff’s, Schenectady County Sheriff’s and NYSP assisted.
“BRING EVERYBODY YOU HAVE I DON’T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON, THERE’S 300 KIDS OUT OF CONTROL AND NOT ONE PARENT IN SIGHT!!” would be a pretty funny 911 call.
